They will get really pretty. But once they/start dropping or self fragging, it can become a headache. Luckily reefers especially new to the hobby love Kenya’s. However I still think it’s a beautiful coral. Just requires maintenance.

They are weeds. I used to collect the branches and glue to rubble. Not anymore. Have bunches still in the 66 gal but if they are on the backside, I let them be. If they root elsewhere I yank them out. I had some on rocks and they are in the coral frag tank. They get big, I snap them off. they regrow. Once you have, you'll always have. Tried to take some to a lfs and they tossed them out--can't sell them. I thought they were colts. Won't have them in the new tank. Not xenia either. Nice piece in the frag tank and it can live there and be pretty.

I have a kenya tree that started as a 2 inch freebie frag, and it seems they grow until they cant anymore, then drop off a bunch of “babies” and then grow out, and repeat. I now have a tank full of kenya tree babies. They get everywhere and i do’nt really care anymore.. lol
