I bought it from my LFS as a bit of a rehab price. Had next to no color visible in white light and skeleton showing at most of the edges. The 2 color swirl came out in a few weeks and has gotten more vibrant. It gets very puffy compared to what it looked like when I bought it. Is this good growth for the 2 months I've had it? This is a type of coral not many people talk about but i love it!

Can't really ask for more in 2 months. Not huge growth, but went from dying to healthy. I expect the next 2 months to give good growth

Look’s good i would say so, I’ve had a few space invaders with no luck, they have all done great till the 6/7 month and just go south from there

Thanks everyone. I was thinking the healing and filling out after the "boney" look would take energy that would otherwise go to growing. I love pectinas and want to get one with more bright colors but want to be sure I'm caring for the one I have as best I can first. There is still skeleton showing on the sides but it seems to be growing around it instead of reoccupying the old framework.

Is that the type mine is? It's more swirly with the tan/yellow and when I got it there was nothing so I really am unsure.

I thought pectinias weren't the fastest growing anyway.
Yours looks good after the lfs picture.
When I mounted mine I broke a piece off by accident, yes they are very fragile, but it healed over nicely over the last few month. Where there was skeleton there is now inflated tissue.
