I'm guessing it is byropsis. It looks like ferns. If it is and if I use fluconazole, will it kill macro algae too? Thank you!

It's too short for me to tell. Things to look for: branching of the filaments, especially in frond like arrangements but not exclusively, a slightly bluish streaky look under blue light, unusual persistence, a feeling of "popping" under the fingers when manually removed.

Fluconazole can kill it, but can also kill macroalgae. If you end up going that route, you could put the macro in something else with light and a little nutrients for a few days before the treatment is done, the water change is done, and you can return it to the tank.

It's a bit blurry and hard to tell, but like Daj said look for branching, frond-like filaments. Having that much bryopsis on new rock would be weird but possible. Can you get a pic with better focus? What are your nutrients at (po4/no3)?

Tank just finished cycling about a week ago I think.

PO4 - .139
NO3 - 4.5

Hope these photos are better:

Bryopsis for sure. Great pic actually. How it got introduced like this so early on is weird... And your po4 is very high for a fresh cycle.

It all seems worth a conversation to determine how it got here, but consider fluconazole and get that po4 down imo.

Could it be from a shell or rock? My live sand and live rocks came from TBS and KPA.

Or could it be from frozen shrimps that sits in the bottle trap for a few days I've been adding as bait to catch the 2 mantis shrimps?

Definitely. Just those nitrates are where a mature fed tank would be, and phosphates are high.

Reading your update yeah that's the phosphates source. I'd get that out for now and treat the bryopsis and reevaluate in a week. Others might have different opinions.
