Hey reefers, as embarrassed as I am to say this…my seahorse tank failed :disappointed-face: it was going good, but then the heater malfunctioned. And they didn’t make it. And after spending 100s$$$ on seahorses, I now want to turn the tank into a pico reef. So do you guys think this light would be sufficient?

I use Fluval Sea nano for all of my nano reef systems, and I love the versatility you get with it. I'm very sorry about your seahorses though. I have some too in a 5 gal macroalgae system, and you've sparked a fear in me of heater malfunction. :grinning-face-with-sweat:

Ok! I think I’m gonna get that light…I’m sorry I gave you the fear of heater malfunction. Although, my heater was just a cheap Chinese one off Amazon.

What are the dimensions of your pico and what kind of corals do you want to keep?

Out of curiosity, what kind of seahorses did you have?

He probably has dwarf seahorses. I've never heard of any kind that could live in a tank of 3 gallons.
