Hey everybody! Is the MP40wQD pump too much current for a Red Sea Reefer 170? I’m looking at getting the vortech pump, but the glass on my aquarium is too thick for the small MP10 So I would have to get the MP40. I saw a post from someone that was selling their mp40 because the flow was too strong for their tank. Their tank was bigger then mine. My other option…I’m looking at getting a ReefWave25. Everyone seems to love the Vortech pumps though.
