My anemone decided to move a few days ago (of course) and now it looks funky. It has a big bubble on one side and a smaller one on the other where its tentacles are. It inflates then and deflates them a couple times every so often.
Is it dying? Splitting?

I have no idea :(

I'm not sure what I'm seeing but the flesh looks healthy to me. As long as it doesn't start to look like it's "melting" or like it's "disintegrating" then it's probably ok. They also will start to stink really bad!

This is right now.
I’m getting concerned I’ll need to take it out so it doesn’t end up nuking the tank when I’m sleeping.

How long have you had the anemone? I've had a LTA for a few years now that at times has deflated like you're seeing, then comes back inflated in a day or two. Like other poster has said, I'm not seeing problems to the flesh - but certainly worth keeping an eye on it.

I’ve had it for over 3 months now. It’s been totally fine until a few days ago when it decided to move and is now sad.
It is for sure a green BTA because I picked it out in the store when it was all bubbled up. But I’ve never seen it “bubble tip” In here. My clowns love it and it has hosted them since the day I put it in.

If it's been doing well and is looking "sad" as you put it, has anything changed in your tank parameters?

When BTA die it won't nuke the tank. Like anything that died, it will add a little nutrient to the tank. How much nutrient depends on how much dry mass it is. Anemones are mostly water.

They will deflate and reinflate all the time. It's pretty normal from what I have noted. I would guess he is probably open again.
