Hi guys! Wanted to upgrade my 2 AI Primes to 3 XR15’s and 2 AI Blades but didn’t want all the arms taking up space on the tank.

I want to hang this set up but the problem is that my tanks in the basement and the basement has a drop ceiling. Is it still possible to achieve this mounting style? If so, does anyone have any threads, articles or videos to share with me so I can figure out how to hang them? I was thinking maybe drill a hole through the drop tiles and mount the cable directly on the frame of the house. Thoughts?

I've done this by doing exactly what you said, drilling through the tile and attach to the floor frame. Not my picture but you get the idea -

^ exactly...I have done this in my photo studio which is in the walk out basement. I have 80+ pounds per light connected to the floor joists

And if something stops you from doing that way, you could attached a rigid rod on the side walls, like a curtain rod, and hang the lights on that.
