Hi All,
I've had two Prime 16hds on my 40 breeder mixed reef for a few years. the UV, voilet and blue channels are getting pretty tired if they havent already died. The guy at my LFS will be replacing the LED pucks whenever he can get the parts for me but I'm taking it as a sign that I'm pushing them too hard.
I know it makes sense to stick with AI but I really like the radions so I think I can live with the two managemnt systems. Plus I want to keep the rebuilt primes and run everything together at lower levels, hopefully resulting in less shadowing. I may also look into some strip lights later on What I'm stuck on is mounting them. I have a pair of rigid arms for the primes but I think its time for a better solution. Is there a universal mounting system I could start researching?
