Is it normal for duncan to look such deflated for 2 days after night shrimp feeding?

Those "fibers" are just the texture of the polyp, though the coral does look bleached, did it look like that when you got it?

Don't think it's bleached, it's just daylight. Under blue light it has cool green tentacles. What's about deflation?

I don't see any deflation, but duncans will sometimes do that, though if you want you can test the water to see if anything is out of the ordinary

You say it's always been that color?!? Looks like you might have a dendrophyllia! @encrustingacro could confirm but if it is, it's a non-photosyenthetic coral that should be fed ever 1-2 days.

would need a better photo under whites to be sure, but based on the size of the polyps, I think that's a Duncan; altough duncans do benefit heavily from feeding.

Though the off-white color leaves me wondering, could it be a bleached duncan or a larger polyp dendro? Or just a really interesting color morph?

I don't know of any other Dendrophylliids with polyps this size besides Duncans. It's probably bleaches (I would need to see it under white light to be sure). The radial lines inside the polyps are mesenteries I think.

It stills to be almost fully closed from that night feeding, anyone got another variants? Parameters are stable. I havent seen it for 6 months exising and even dino toxic breakout to be like that. And i have already feeded it with shrimps multiple times and everything was okay

I tried Duncan's many times with no success...which is funny, because they are so hardy...

Strangely enough i tried one last one...about 6 months ago ..a 2 head...and it has taken off.

The thing is though, it didn't open for a while after the first few months, but little did I know, it was growing a new 3rd head. It now has 4.

So be patient with it.
