I have a 150 gallon aquarium and there was a lot of space beneath the stand hence I wanted to put a 130 gallon aquarium down there and make a inbuilt sump in that 130 gallon tank which mostly accomodates about a filter sock, skimmer and the return pump but if I had to push it just maybe some polish sponge for extra clarity
I wanted to make the 130 gallon aquarium a macroalgae tank with live rock and some gracilaria species such as the red and green gracilaria with some more species (that's if I find some more varieties of algae)
So the total volume will be about 270 or 260 gallons if you include the sand and rocks
Is a sump and filter sock enough?
