Is anyone using Scrub Mommy or Scrub Daddy sponges on the tank?

I started a thread the other day on ways to clean a low iron glass tank, and I got to wondering if maybe a scrub daddy sponge (or a scrub mommy) might be a good idea for cleaning a tank. We use these on our glassware and like them. Is this a dumb idea? LOL

Idk, after my wife “cleaned” our new stainless steel sink with one and marred the crap out of the finish, they were banned from our house no way would I let one near my glass.

Haha! For anyone not familiar with what I'm referring to, it's these sponges. They were featured on Shark Tank a while back and now they sell them everywhere. They work really well on glassware and other dishes (at least in our experience).
