I can't wait to see what tank you decide to put in your house! The reefing hobby changes fast, especially in 10 years!Hello my name is Jeremy, live in corpus christi just moved down here from tulsa. I don't currently have a tank, but I used to run a 75 gallon fish fowlr.
I'm looking to get back into the hobby and wanted to put together a mixed reef. Will feature a trio of Hawaiian flame wrasse , that's about it for my fish list at the moment, probably run the standard additions , clowns, tangs etc.
I always said if I ever get back into the hobby I was going to do it right so I'm currently shopping for a 200 to 300 gallon acrylic main display. Technology has changed alot in 10 years so still researching over flows, skimmers. Bio filtration , led vs t5/mh lights.
I know I want a deep display , im thinking a 6ft by 3 foot foot print.
Was actually getting in the forums today to do a humidity search and see if 300 gallons was to much for a 1700 square foot house.
House is still being built and the absolute last thing I want is humidity and mold problems.
I don't have room for a dedicated fish room sadly so will be a tradition in cabinet under tank sump.
