They are great for the money! Glad you had a par meter too, I have one on the way. I figured the corners would pretty dark.

On my 4ft I could run 3 and not be overkill, but I do have SPS and prefer a more blue look. The whites are super strong on these. Hence supplement with LED blue bars.

Id say depending on how high your rock work in the middle is would be the only issue if you didnt have 3 lights but im nowhere near an advanced reefer just my thoughts on the research ive done and how lights overlap in a tank

Go to home depot and buy some LED diffuser panel to put on the LED light. It is the best upgrade and end results you get from that.

I added three 48” ATI Blue plus, and two, 1 puck halos.

I have 2x viparspectra 165w on my 75 gallon reef at 12" above the water. I use glass lids to keep the fish from jumping, but have blues set to 100% and whites at 15%. Blues from 10 AM to 10 PM and whites from 12 PM to 8 PM.

My GSP grows on a shaded island at the very bottom of the tank, shaded by both rockwork and the cross brace of the tank. It thrives on the very bottom, doesn't do as well higher up. The top of the tank is pretty much reserved for Acropora, the RBTA, and Blue ridge coral, which all thrive for me under ultra bright lighting. It's definitely too bright for some stuff toward the top. I tried the big sour apple birdsnest colony and nuked it. It completely RTNd within 48 hrs.

Yea idk whatsup with my tank i mean i understand transferring corals to be stressed at first but my first candy cane took probably 5 or 6 months to heal itself after bleaching but no other growth and not thriving like it should be which somewhere is my mistake
