Hi there. Looking for your thoughts. Im10p EXT sitting on the pallet for over a month... finally getting into it.. so far I am water testing the sump and will get stand built.. HOWEVER. SO RFS39 filter chamber, then Protien Skinner chamber, then Refugium chamber,, then return chamber. So it's the refugium to return that concerns me. Chaeto floats... the inlet from refug to return is higher than any other spot in the sump... there is a baffle in refugium, but at its highest is .25" lower than inlet. Wont the chaeto wind up in the return amd mess up my return pump?
Thinking this way I am tempted to drill a few holes lower down. Maybe even close to the bottom.
I thought about get some screen or mesh and put it in front..
The more I think about it. To full the sump full enough to get water overflowing into the return chamber would also mean The protein skimmer in in 12 inches of water, thay doesn't seem right does it?
