My Fire shrimp is very shy. It does not harm any tank mates. He is an opportunistic feeder, meaning if something dies in the tank he will grab it and run!

My tank has reached 80 degrees with no obvious stress to the shrimp, however I would not let it get over that. He does seem to shed more often than most shrimp that I have seen.

This is a truly beautiful shrimp.

Yes they are a wonderful addition to your tank. Beautiful and not destructive. I lost mine due to power outage in the summer while away on a trip.
