I hear tell there is such a thing as a small, white, spider-like doohickey called a Hydroid Jellyfish that is said to inhabit newer tanks.

Methinks this be the critter in question? I seem to have a dozen or so scattered on the glass (which probably means two dozen more hiding in the rocks).
