My forest fire digi has grown very close to one of my acros. Based on the growth rate I’m pretty sure the digi will kill the acro if they touch. What can I do to prevent this conflict from happening?

I have heard of a reefer that planted montipora for his SPS to eat for lunch (in battle.)

I just posted a thread about killing my bubblegum digi with kalk paste. It just grows too fast and takes up space I need for acropora.

I hit it with kalk paste and let it sit for a couple hours with minimal tank flow. I’m going to have to go over some of the vertical surfaces with f aptasia, but the kalk got most of it.

Here is a pic of what’s left:

Kalk paste, go slow as it can raise alk. So only nuke some of the coral at a time. You can let it sit on the coral for about 10m to kill it w flow off, then use a baster to blow it off as you turn flow back on. I'm doing this myself to a large monti right now.
