I wanted to do a post on my BTA nano tank. It's my first post, so apologies in advance. This is my first saltwater tank since 2005 and wow how a lot has changed. I stopped reefing due to being in the military. I just couldn't keep breaking down and restarting everytime I moved.

The Nuvo is almost 11 months old now and is doing amazing. Everything has been stable outside of a small algae bloom from tuning Fuge lighting. But now the algae is slowly disappearing and Chaeto is growing fast. There is a Hammer and Ricordea in the tank that I used as "Testers", prior to adding anemones. They will be moved to my Waterbox cube 10 gallon soon.

Tomorrow I should be replacing my IM Nuvo skimmer, on time delivery permitted. I'll be replacing it with the Icecap K1 Nano skimmer. The NuvoSkim worked fine for what it is but the O-Ring collector cup doesn't really offer fine tuning.

Also wanted to give a huge thank you to @BBoley24 for the larger widow on the left and @david_ma for the Detroit Sunburst below the larger widow. They are both great to work with and shipped with amazing care.

What intensity do you have that radion set at? Tank looks great!
I imported ReefDudes schedule running at his full intensity now, did a 30 day acclimation starting at 50%.
I have an Apogee MQ-510 par meter and on the highest point of the schedule it produces 200-250 par in the entire tank, directly under the light is the 250 range. I do have the diffuser installed so might be 5-10% higher with it off. I'll edit original post to reflect that. Forgot to mention the diffuser. The schedule runs from 0700-1830 so 11.5hrs and couple of hours of dim moonlights set at 10% white / 35% blue.

Update:

About 24hrs after install and the IceCap K1 Nano is pulling fair amount of skim.

Update:

So, 48hrs into the new skimmer and it's pulling darker skim than I ever could with the NuvoSkim after 3+ months of use. Even the noise at 48hrs is about 30-40% less than the NuvoSkim was. The micro-bubble production is roughly the same but even the NuvoSkim took about 2-3 weeks before I saw a reduction.

Collection cup was emptied last night and this was 0900 this morning.

Time lapse of about 8hrs and it's just cruising along.
