Hi fellow reefers
Firstly a big thank you to everybody on reef2reef, loads of helpful topics and great sources of information.
I downsized from Red Sea max e-260 this year around June. This was 4th tank in past 5 years. Was close to quitting but couldn’t part with my fish and my mrs would have been very angry if our clowns were sold.
Transferred as much as I could to my Lagoon 25, love this tank, just makes maintenance lots easier, the Red Sea was just too high for my liking.
Currently running XR15 Blue gen 5 around 40%, bit of guess work as par meters to rent in UK is nonexistent.
Nero 5 at around 4%, on pulse mode and using Rfg nozzles on return which is stock.
Just finished my dino battle and Cyano seems to be slowly reducing, all natural approach with syphoning out as much as I can daily.
Anyway, hoping to to learn from other nano tank reefers and welcome any suggestions. Anybody willing to share there Nero or other wavermaker settings, I get a bit nervous when trying to up flow. Also coral placement recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Best wishes
Mike
