Looks like it may be a Stomatella snail of some sort...kinda cool looking too! If that is indeed what it is, they are known to be harmless in our systems.

Ok. This has been a very interesting observation. It's red spots as spikes are not actually apart of its shell! It is actually its own flesh tht wraps around it I am so amazed at it. I just can't think of what to do with it

I ended up placing him in my algae scrubber to live with or be eaten by the gorilla crab who buries himself in the sand. I'm not sure where the snail cowrie Chinese egg shell what ever thingy is but it is far away from my corals. He has to go through the scrubbers overflow, then the sump baffles and 2nd small waterfall scrubber and to the return pump 4 ft away then up 17 ft of tubing and then and only then will he be a possible threat. In the meantime he gets all the food from the overflow.

The 10g that is as bright as heaven is the scrubber/ pest tank. Anything that's bigger than the overflow pipe goes in there if It ain't reef safe and I let them battle or if they live together cool. More creepy stuff!
