One of my clients wants a "rainbow" tank. It is only a 60gallon tank with a few soft corals. It is fish focused. I have most of the rainbow figured out, but I'm struggling with finding green fish. She wants a true green, not like a green chromis. I know of the warpaint and green clown goby, but are there any other suggestions for a smaller tank?

Hmm... Chromis flash. Not really sure if there is a common "green" in this hobby though. (fish wise)

Yeah, it's been a struggle. My first thought was Halichoeres chloropterus as I've seen some very pretty green ones, but they get too big. The Richmond's recommended is a truer color and a tad smaller, but still bigger than I'd like. The little clown gobies hide more than she would want, but that might be what she has to accept.

Yeah, green is a tricky color. (eyes) Honestly the only thing that came to mind is a Mandarin, but that's a whole different story altogether. GL

There are also Green-banded Gobies (not super vibrant, but still green) and Emerald Blennies (not sure of the scientific name for this species yet, but it appears to be from the family Clinidae). Not a lot of info available on the Emerald Blennies but from what little I have found, I wouldn't expect it to get too big.
