saw this growing in my tank..need help in identifying what this is..looks like some sort of algae

Bubble algae , it’s a pain to get rid of but emerald crabs eat it if you can’t take out the rock and scrub it off

Welcome to r2r.

I second what Scotty said and add that removing with teasers then a toothbrush dipped in peroxide to sanitize where bubble attached to rock. If you burst the bubbles in the water, you may well be inoculating your water with spores.

why doesnt it look like a bubble and looks kinda like a leaf? im not sure if its clear in the picture..
