Hey all I’m needing some help reading and understanding these tests. I’ll post two results of my ICP test I just did. One is of my RO water and the other is my saltwater.

My RO test says I have very high copper in my RO water how do I lower that? Would that be a concern for my tank? Currently no coral are in the tank just fish but I’m having a lot of GHA in my tank.

Let me know what you think?

I would look at your DI resin. It does not look like it is affecting your tank yet though.

I would not assume that 3 ug/L in top off water is critically high, and since it is not present in the tank at detectable levels, I would not worry about it, but can you post the rest of the RO water report? it does not look like 0 ppm TDs water, and if not, it is best to replace the DI or put two in series.

I’m just trying to figure out why I have a good amount of GHA when my parameters seem good. Tank is about 10 months old too.
