Seems like I am always seeing like-new (or sometimes NIB) Biocubes on FBM for cheap, and I've always liked the 'fully covered' look of the bio/nano cubes... So much so that now I'm thinking of setting up a CSB nem tank with a Biocube 32...
I want to recycle some existing equipment into it - like a Kessil A80 (which I'm sure I could retrofit in place of the existing LED)... And I've got a Bubble Magus Mini Q Nano that im thinking might still fit in the back with the lid on w some adjustments...
Seems like people graduate from Biocubes onto more advanced systems fairly quickly though, and its hard to find long-term build threads still maintained... Am I missing something about the build quality? Mostly concerned about the actual tank glass/body/lid and not the mechanical aspects of the tank that I would likely swap out...
I do know Nanocubes back in the day had lots of issues with cracks in the glass bends, has that affected Biocube? Seems like they've generally maintained a pretty good reputation. Any commentary from people with long-term Biocube32 experience?
