I wouldnt say nerd, anyone who has a ear for music and how to make it is impressive. Im totally tone deaf . I remember my music teacher trying to teach me how to tune my guitar and him saying see can you hear the difference ,,, and I was like nope LOLtruth is I was always more of a 909 guy. regrettably I sold my near mint TR for like twelve hundred bucks back in 1999 so I could get a fancy sampler, that was completely obsolete within 5 years. Now the 909s are like 15k. knobs on mine were still stiff!! dumb young move. anyway
