I noticed some white spots on both of my orange clownfish which were bought together and I’m wondering if it’s ick ir maybe just stress related factor. Two of my other clowns are fine with not one spot. They all still eat normally and swim around the tank but the concern is the spots

Welcome to Reef2Reef and sorry for your trouble!

I'd suggest at a minimum posting the info suggested in the quote below, and if possible reading through the link below that (particularly the "Aquarium Parameters," "Water quality," and "In-depth Information" sections) to figure out what info you can share here with the #fishmedic to get the best diagnosis and treatment advice possible:
Please provide as much of the following as you are able:
  • Brief description of the issue you are observing and answers to the following questions:
    • How long have you had the fish with the condition?
    • Did you quarantine with medication when you first acquired the fish? (If Yes, which medication?)
  • Current water quality measurements
  • Clear photos of the issue taken using WHITE light and/or a short video of any behaviors (post in your response or on YouTube).
If you can help us by providing as much of the above info as possible, it will make diagnosing and providing recommendations for treatment MUCH easier! The Fish Medic team will get back to you as quickly as possible. In the meantime, other members of our community may also share their experience with similar situations and advice that they may have regarding your situation.

You may also feel free to provide a more detailed description of the condition if you wish to share more info than the above list.
Also, for future reference (don't make a new thread there this time; I have already tagged the fish medics in this thread) with these sorts of issues, posting in the forum linked below can get you help faster:

I will try to post more. And yes they eat like there’s no tmr. Very responsive to food. They swim all over as well like a school. It’s a 72 gal tank and salinity is perfect and temperature is great. 77.9 to be exact. I’ve tried testing for ammonia.

We really need clear photos taken under white lights. From the photo supplied, I can't tell if the issue is ich or lymphocystis, or perhaps both. Ich needs to be treated, but Lymphocystis will go away on its own.

I definitely see Lymphocystis here. That’s a viral disease that isn’t fatal. I can’t rule out that there isn’t some ich in the mix.
I also see some signs of tankmate aggression - commonly seen in groups of clowns, you may end up needing to separate them if they start to pair off.

If it is lympho what’s the best course or action
Its indeed lympho which is a condition and not disease. Often its associated with water quality issue as simple as elevated ammonia or nitrate and can be that of water from LFS and not yours. Assure to provide Good water quality monitored by a reliable test kit and feed nutritious food with fats such as LRS nano frenzy and mysis shrimp.

If it is only lymphocystis, that is a viral disease that goes away on its own without any treatment.
