I added a six line wrasse. So I have an outbreak of red flatworms and didn't want to go the chemical route and I'm too lazy to manually remove if I don't have to. My biggest concern is him becoming a bully to my foxface and copperband. I sent the afternoon drip acclimating him as the water he was in was 1.020 and I am at 1.026 right now. After acclimation, I put him in the tank and guess who turned out to be the bully. My blue green chromis. He is a big boy but never figured him to go nuts on a six line. Things have calmed down by evening and the wrasse has already learned a lot hides and is able to maneuver a little better than the chromis. The wrasse can quickly get into the rocks or coral and wait the bully out and then go back to ridding the tank of pest......

Interesting! I’ve seen some mean chromis when I tried to keep a harem of them… I only keep one now. But I’ve never seen them go after other species and I have the sole survivor of a fierce battle in there!

Ya, I was warned about keeping more than one, so my chromis is the only one ever in the tank. He was a tiny tiny little guy when I got him two years ago. I love him though. Great fish.

So this is my first chromis, so I had no idea. He is out front swimming the full tank all of the time. Not afraid when I work on the tank. When I sit close to the glass he is right there in front looking at me as he swimming back and forth. But the most aggressive fish in the tank is a one spot fox face and copperband butterfly, so he has never been bullied in any way.

Update, chromis got board quickly and has left the wrasse alone. I just turned the lights off and the wrasse has a full belly so he is doing good.
