Hello everyone. So I have found a couple aptasia over the last couple months but as soon as I see them i have removed the rock and just leave it to dry out.

Either way i saw this in the middle of my zoa rock and was wondering if someone could tell me what it is please. I’m hoping its not aptasia as i though i had it out as I haven’t seen any in a few weeks plus.

Thank you everyone.

Thank you appreciate it. Do these spread or cause damage to other corals if you don’t mind me asking?
Some species do some don't - we're not sure what species are harmful/invasive at this point and which aren't, though, and the invasiveness can vary depending on individual tank circumstances.

Thank you for the info. I will start my Google searching and learning now about this pest. Hopefully it doesn’t get worse. Appreciate the help.
