Yes I know but in England not many aquarium shops shut down I personally haven’t seen one shut down all I want to know is where you buy aquarium racks with sumps already with it

Bricks and Mortar retail generally isn’t doing well, energy costs make reef keeping a niche hobby and you’ll be very fortunate to build an installations / maintenance business to give guaranteed income in the UK except perhaps pond work.

I let my distributor(middle man) carry my inventory

I don't think you can do that in the pet business

"We can order it for you" doesn't work these days

The customer says or thinks, "Well, I can order it too, myself"

There are legit commercial, as in being in business, frag vendors growing frags in their basement or garages. You would be competing against them.

With extra rent and overhead, insurance, signage that they don't have

Make up a 5 year business plan, I suppose. It will help you and others(lenders) see if this is something you really want to do
