More heater. I use two BRS 300w heater elements for my 4' 60g tank. They're on an inkbird controller of course and get routinely checked. That single 100w heater is definitely too small IMO.
Good to know I will be exploring new options thank you

This ^^^^.

There are veteran reefers who let the room temp dictates tank temp.

I set my InkBird to 78 +/- 1.
So a tank that goes from 76 up to 78 79 back down to 76 in a day is not an issue?

How do you maintain a steady temp in a longer tank? I can’t seem to keep my tank at 1 steady temp it’ll be 78 then it’ll be 76 I have the right size wattage for it I just want to have a clear head and my fish and coral are not dealing with swings

tank 33 long (4ft)
Temp watt 100

Sits in the display
You want minimum 250wt- 100wt not enough. My current tank is 9feet long and I use twin 800wt

Awesome very interesting thanks for this I’ll look into a 300watt one and see if this will change with a controller
