How to hang Noopsyche K7 Pro

I could find very little information on how to hang Noopsyche K7 Pros. I really just wanted to know what kind of screws attach into it and how many screws it has, but there wasn't a very great picture or any information on the screw sizes. You can find some mention of it in a few threads, but I thought I'd share here what I used.

You want machine screws. These are the screws I used from Lowes, 5/32 inch. M4 machine screws will work as well, but I couldn't find those with hooks on the end. You also want to make sure they are long enough. The K7 pro has these metal ridges on the top and the screw is on the bottom there. The screws I got were 1-5/8 inch and I was able to screw until the eye hook was as far as it could go, I'd say ~1/2 inch in.

Furthermore, there are two screws on each side. I removed one of the screws so you can see where the hole is. The light hangs level from just these two screws.

Here's is my current setup that I'll be improving soon. As I mentioned, just these hooks makes it hang nice and level. Although you will need to make sure the cord isn't pulling down on it. If it does, it won't be level. So make sure to have some way to fasten the cord against something so it doesn't tug down on the light.

Thanks for this thread. It was the only source of information I could find regarding hanging these lights.

To add some detail from my build, I used M4-0.7 25MM pan heads to screw my custom brackets into the mounting holes of the K7 Pro fixtures. 25MM is the length, so just make sure you use M4 with a thread pitch of 0.7. It's about 20MM/1" to reach between the fins, but I needed a little more length for the thickness of my brackets.

For my fixture, I was needing to hang 2 units over my 40 breeder. I built a 28" long hanger out of 1" aluminum angle. I then used 1" 1/8" thick aluminum "flat" to make brackets to screw into my K7s. This is where I used the M4 pan heads. These brackets just rest in the angle which allows me to adjust them side to side in case I want to make any modifications. Then I just added some M8-1.00 hex bolts so I could screw my existing hanging kit into them.

I will update after I hang the fixture and get it programmed. I need to take some baseline PAR numbers from my current fixture before I do that.

I'm about to build a temporary mount out of wood before I make one that's more like yours built into a canopy. Would the screw type be the same for the screw in this picture as the screws you used for your set up? If not what type would work?
