How to get rid of long green algae

Hi I’ve got lots of long waves green algae on the back of my tank can anyone give me any tips on how to get rid of it got cuc but they are not doing a very good job

Manually remove as much as you can.... scrapper, scrubber, stiff brush, whatever

Then start testing for Phosphates using a Hanna Checker.

Do deep dive research on ways to keep your Phosphates at or below 0.1

Most elevated phosphates are bc you are overfeeding the fish... and/or not enough waterchanges

PROTIP.... fish need a lot less food than what we think they need. I only feed once a day in an amount that's consumed completely in under 5mins

Get a algae scrubber problem solved with in a few week’s and never have to deal with it again

I usually just manually remove mine. Also, ensure your parameters aren't too high, which can cause algae to grow.
