Hello,

Normally i use baking soda to raise alkalinity, i use the calculators and i add it manually (mixing some grams with RODI water).

What i want to do now, is to create 1 gallon with Baking Soda so i can use it with a Doser, and to know how much ML should i add to raise 0.10dKh for example?

For example, if i get a premixed solution like MECORALS bag, you add the entire bag in 1 gallon, and you dose 5 ml to raise 0.10 dKh, is there any formula to do that with Baking soda?

Thanks!

For baking soda you'll want to follow Randy's recipe "Recipe #2, Part 2: The Alkalinity Part": http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2006-02/rhf/index.php#11

It's basically the same as the BRS formula, so for calculating dosing amounts you can use the BRS calculator: https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/reef-calculator/

Pick "Alkalinity", then "Liquid Sodium Bicarbonate", and then either "Pharma pouch" or "jug" (they work the same).
Excellent!!!!!

Let me read these articles!

Thank you!
