How to Clean/Sterilize Used Tank and Equipment?

I'm thinking of buying a used aquarium from someone who is moving between states. The current set up is FOWLR, all the equipment is quite new, but bit neglected (visible algae, fish staying in corners).
If I buy that aquarium, how do I clean it to avoid transferring any potential issued (algae, dinos, fish diseases/parasites) to my set up?
This is AIO tank that has difficult to reach areas between filter chambers and spray bottle won't work.

Scrub with dawn dish soap, rinse, then sterilize with 15% bleach in water. Rinse with water, air dry, and you should be good to go!

Problem is, this is AIO tank and there are difficult to reach areas between the filter chambers. Using spray bottle won't work...

Just fill the filter chambers and all the areas in the back with a citric acid solution.

Assuming it's a nano tank, and not a 200G AIO!

Fill tank, I added 2.5# of powder citric acid and turned pump on. Leave it run 8-12 hours, empty and rince

I used 2.5 pounds for my 30 gallon. You should just do 5#
