How to catch a shrimp

I need to dose my tank for red bugs with interceptor and have been trying to catch my shrimp for a few days now. I have tried to do the water bottle thing with no luck, and have also been trying to net them at night with food and still no luck. I have caught all my crabs and one of the cleaner shrimp but I still have one more left and 2 more fire red shrimp. They are supper big and healthy and have been in the tank for around 2 years. So my question is does anyone know any tricks on catching these things, and if I cant get them out do you guys think they might survive?

If you have had the shrimp for that long I wouldn't chance it on hoping the will survive. Can you remove they rock they are hiding in and then nab them?

Why are you trying to remove them anyways? The best way I would think is to turn off the pumps, then feed the fish and inverts through the net. When they all go for the food your shrimpy friends may find that it is safe. Otherwise if it still doesn't work, I would do what clarky2120 said and just remove some of the rock and try to grab em. If you cant get them early on when you move the rock, I would put it back exactly where it is, or they may be even more skiddish.

Interceptor will kill snails, shrimp, and hermit crabs as well as RED BUGS.

Reefer831, I caught my shrimp by adding pellet food inside a clear container with string attached to it. Once the shrimp walks inside I pull the container up.

The above is a good idea.

I noticed that my blue girdled angel fish had gill flukes...and they arent getting better (The fish is otherwise healthy)

So today I dumped some food into my tank, and waited for my cleaner shrimp (wild) to come out. This is not one of those cleaners that will just jump onto your hand, but I easily netted him once he was out in the open. Use one hand to sort of corral him into the net. Really not that hard.
