Juvenile Emperor Angel fish in the 80s attracted me to salt. African Cichlids attracted me to FW early 70s.

I wish you could get a juvenile emperor and it would stay that color, haha

I really want one if these. They are absolutely stunning. To bad we can't get them anymore, or so I have been told.

My LFS has these right now. Since I'm moving to a bigger tank this weekend, I went in last weekend to find out what would be good additions to slip in before my current fish re-settle. Asked about these! Sadly, they will be too big for my new tank. Beautiful fish though!

Just remembered! What got me into SW was a YT Damsel. First fish I ever got. Was the first in my 1992 tank and the first in my 2008 tank. It'll be the first in my 2025 tank.
