Many of us were attracted to this hobby because of a certain fish or fish with certain color. We often hear of a fish being so colorful.
What is the most colorful fish you have seen, and which has if it applies attracted you to the hobby?

I loved the big angelfish like navarchus and emperor because of the hue of blue. I had a sweet navarchus for quite a long time but when care of a relative necessitated that I downsized my tank I sold it. Now I have a nice coral beauty angel but I miss the neon blue.

I'll take a matched pair
My favorite fish
You know? I've tried those maybe once and don't care for them. Then again, I'm picky about fried fish like that

I remember just being in awe of ALL of them. But I think what got me was the Maroon Clown. That was a solid 30-35 years ago, so details evade me.

Mine has always been angels, especially the emperor! This is my tiny baby right now! I cant decide on his name, I was calling him Nickel but recently Ive been referring to him as Tiny. He is so cute and I love their juvenile color/pattern. And their adult colors? Stunning. Especially how different it is from their juvenile colors.

Especially Francis. The color and detailed dots on the desjardini are mesmerizing!

Not as spectacular as the others mentioned but I like how my Court Jester Goby looks. This is an older picture from my observation quarantine tank.

That is a beautiful fish. How big a tank does it need?
