Hey guys

So I just got a seneye par meter - I’ve been running two Reefi uno 2.0 pros over a 40 gallon breeder but think the par may be just too high.

Right now the only sps is green slimer a random Anacropora and birds nest - I tried some red digi towards the top of the rock work but it bleached but has since started to colour up back on the sand bed

I’m getting about 800 at the top of the rock work and 300 on the sand bed.

If I should reduce should I reduce slowly ?

Thank you for any feedback ! (And any feedback on if the seneye is actually reliable )

(I’ve also uploaded a screenshot of the programme I am running on the reefis.

They are actually pretty accurate. 800 at the top, yeah that's just a bit high!

For your corals, I would shoot for about 400 at the top of the rocks, 250 mid aquarium, and 100-150 on the sandbed.

Thanks a lot!

I've actually already used the seneye to drop the par down to about 380 at the top of the rocks. I ended up dropping the wattage per light to a peak of 62 watts . I never thought these lights packs that much punch!

Sps have just been sort of sitting there- I’m pretty sure I know why…
