I was surprised to notice the amount of brown Cyano type debridement which has collected on my flipper scraper. I had unwittingly left it on the tank for a couple days and noticed how brown it had become. So I rinsed repeated, putting it back in the tank and again it's collecting debridement. I think this type of concept seems very helpful in filtering out floating debris. I'm not sure if there's a way to even upgrade the process or if this is something people already do and I've just accidentally stumbled on it. White lights are on for this and it's just to show how much brown is collected but with a blue lights on it doesn't really seem that brown.

You’ve made an in tank algae scrubber. It’s not collecting “debris” out of the water

scrubbing is an action, in this case of my flipper is just staying in one spot collecting floating debris, turning brown over course of a day or two. It's the other side of the scraper It's like a felt type of material so when debris hits it, it never leaves.
or i'm not not understanding what you're saying Idk

now it's gotta hitchhiker . I swear my tank is cleaner since I left my flipper there.
