My tank is 90 gal (Reefer 425) and has 10 fish:
2 clowns
Large pink spot watchman goby
Royal Gramma
Coral Beauty
Bristle tooth tang
Fox face
Melenarus wrasse
Bicolar blenny
Purple fire fish
Plus some shrimp crabs snails

Im running avast marine plank with reef jerky
Does anyone know how much food I should be putting into the tank? This stuff is different that the pellets and frozen cubes I am used to\
I'm currently running the feeder for 30 secs x 7 times per day. I'm not sure if I'm over or underfeeding. My nutrients look good.

FWIW Avast marine says 3 mins of run time is equivalent to 1 cube of frozen food. Im running 3.5 mins per day.
If you're not familiar with the Plank autofeeder or reef jerky, then how many cubes of frozen food would you feed this tank per day?

i cant think

If your fish can eat all the food you dose within 5 minutes then I’d say you’re good. I personally feed 8 cubes a day (4 in the morning, 4 at night). In my main tank (4’) I feed 7.5-7 cubes and in my nano (3’x16”) I feed 1-0.5 cubes.

8 cubes a day in a 4 ft tank seems crazy high

Not when you’ve got fish that are incredibly hungry and high energy.

Here’s my 15 fish stocking list in my tank that has 7-7.5 cubes a day;
- Magnificent Foxface (Fully grown)
- Regal Angel (Growing)
- Majestic Angel (Growing)
- Coral Beauty (Fully grown)
- Blue Eye Kole Tang (Growing)
- Copperband Butterfly (Growing)
- Hybrid Clown (Growing)
- Yellow Watchman Goby (Growing)
- Yellow Fin Fairy Wrasse (Growing)
- Rosey Veiled Fairy Wrasse (Growing)
- Gold Nugget Wrasse (Growing)
- Naoko Fairy Wrasse (Fully Grown)
- Radiant Wrasse (Fully Grown)
- Jade Wrasse (Fully Grown)
- Marcosi Tilefish (Fully Grown)

Some of these fish want 2 feedings and others of them want a good large feed. So I combat that through 2 feedings a day and each feeding has 4 cubes.

I assume your main tank is a FOWLR. If it’s a reef tank it would give me hope that I could get a regal angel in my reef and not have it eat my corals. All your fish are beautiful though.

My main is certainly not a fowlr haha, it’s got coral in it (albeit my starfish outbreak wiped out most of my prized LPS).

Good to know. My tank is 210 gallons or about 840 liters. Hopefully I can get a regal that plays well with corals.

OP I agree with the advice @i cant think gave you. Heavy in, heavy out. I’m going that route in my system.

I would personally feed a cube worth each feeding and feed them three times daily if possible.
