Hey all!

I’m coming up on my second year in my tank. 32.5 Fluval marine. I have a few coral and growing, but my question is about stock. Am I able to add any more fish safely? I currently have:

2 clown
1 Six Line wrasse
1 royal gamma
1 yellow goby
1 red carpet anemone
1 bubble tip anemone

Would anymore be too much? If not, what would be a harmonious choice?

what do you want to add? the anemones/invterts/corals aren't really a significant bioload, so it would seem you could add another smaller fish

I wouldn't get any more until you have to get rid of that wrasse.
I had this concern too, but surprising the wrasse is definitely in the bottom of authority. My royal gamma runs the show and doesn’t put up with any nonsense from the wrasse. Maybe a bottom level fish?

Definitely fish if I add anything. Of course more coral.

It will eventually out grow that tank.
I’ll out grow this tank I’m already looking to upgrade for more display volume and a sump. Filtration has been a struggle with this AIO.

If you are planning to upgrade within a year, that would be a good time to add more fish.

All I can think of adding to that tank are gobies and blennys. They are really fun, but most of them could get bullied in that tank. Especially if you had the current fish stock for a while.

Just an update here. As I added new coral the dynamic in the tank shifted and the wrasse began nipping at other fish and pecking at coral. I had to pull everything out of the tank to catch it and give him to my LFS. Now I’m thinking pairing up my goby and calling it a day. I really want to shift my focus to coral to provide a beautiful habitat for the fish appropriate for my sized tank. Thanks for the advice and assistance everyone!
