Newbie here and getting into reefing for the first time, I have arranged my rocks, yet to glue and epoxy them but how does this look? I have marked out my tank in blue tape. And I do intend on putting softie corals in too. Is it too high?

I'm new too. One little regret I have is that I planned the rock structure without really having a plan as to which corals I was going to put on there. I know, it's so exciting and you get all caught up in it
WATER CIRCULATION
Where will water enter your system (from the return)? Where will it leave? Water circulation is what will take waste and detritus away from your corals. LIGHT
What light will you be using? Looking at your structure the top might be too bright for your coral. Depends on the light and the coral. CORALS
There loads of kinds of softies out there. Zoanthids are a good beginner coral. Insanely colourful and will eventually merge together into a zoo garden. They'd work well on your lower structures even in shaded areas.
If you're think about GSP or Pulsing Xenia you'd want to put them on their own separate island as they'll take over otherwise.
If I'd had the discipline, I'd have taken pics of the structure back to the place I was going to buy the corals and get advice on where the various corals I had in mind would be placed on the structure.
Also, I started off wanting a beginner friendly softy tank. Took me a month before I found that there's some really interesting beginner LPS corals out there too.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I've always built my foundation to compliment the needs of my fish while being a firm believer that one's coral makes the true scape.
