How can i silence my drain to sump

Would I be able to handle more flow using 1 1/4 pvc . I had to throttle back my return pump to bring the noise down

Your bulkhead size will dictate the flow you can handle...

Additionally, the valve that controls full siphon should be right by the sump and not under the box...

This makes no sense (there's no difference where the valve is on a full siphon drain)

I re plumbed it in 1-1/4 pvc. It is totally silent now. At full power too
