How are you placing your gyres in a big tank?

I’m just curious how those of you using gyres for flow place them.
In my 4’ long 65 gallon I have one on each end near the top.
On my 180 gallon I am thinking I’ll place the xf350’s on ends in the top half and place my xf330’s on the back pushing forward. All 4 horizontally and random flow.

FWIW, I’ve found that the 350s are pretty much too powerful for my 6 foot long 240. The minimum flow, which is 10% on the Maxspect controller, is about right for my tank. But it’s hard to do much with random flow if you can’t go over the minimum. I’m replacing them with 330s, which will give me a lot more options.

I am using one Maxspect Gyre XF280 and two MP60's on my 6'x3'x3'
XF280 in random mode max 70% on one end and the two MP60's on the other in reef crest mode also at about 70% plenty of random water movement.

I could see that. The 350s are currently set at 20% and I had to move them downward because they push water out of or away from the weir and it creates noise in the drains. My 330s are currently in my 4’ tank at 60%
