So the one I purchased was listed for $1000 because they had it with two heads. Once I compared pics it was a single and they lowered it to $600. Labor day sale was 30% off and they added my military discount for a total of 40%. I paid roughly $350.
Not bad but the starting price seems really high. Of course location can have a lot to do with it. Around my area I've been seeing them on our local FB groups for $300 and below.

I don’t care about sharing my prices, transparancy will help others avoid being ripped off, and we can look back on this and laugh one day when grails flood the market and are $99 each, or they are nearly extinct and $1000+

The grails in the group shots I posted earlier are 500 each for single head

My banana grail was 375 when it was single head. This price was approx 16 months ago

Torch of the Gods - vendor had single head for 350 or splitting head for 450. I got the splitting head

Malaysian sun god was around 220 single head (Foreground)

The cotton candy I posted, when I got it, it was one head splitting 4 ways, I paid 80$

I have had three holy grail torches with different lineages and two cotton candy. The picture looks like a holy grail to me. The holy grails are either 1) green base and super neon green throughout (see the Jolly Rancher Holy Grails sold by Pieces of the Ocean) or 2) super neon green which transitions to yellow (the OG ASD Holy Grails are a prime example). The second type is more sought after and command the highest prices. The first type look super nice and are notably more colorful and vibrant than cotton candy torches.

When I'm physically looking at my torch the 2nd hands down. But with my phone brings out green a little more.
Ive had that where I’ve tried to photograph my dragon tamer and its always more green than yellow. Although, this thread is telling me to photograph mine more now they’ve been under AI blades…

To me I’d say this is Holy Grail as in my LFS they have Holy Grails that look the same if not very very similar.

How has your torch colors changed while under AI blades? I also have AI blades but my tank is new so just trying to keep things alive.

Here’s my torch garden before I lost a couple and the torch I’ve noticed the most change on is the far right torch.

It’s no longer so green and is a true orange/bright gold colour.

The Blades have brought out the colour I’ve not been able to get dominant before.

You guys are adding AI blades... What are your primary lights?

Torch color can also shift / change depending on tentacle extension length. Shorter tends to be more vibrant compared to when they stretch longer. Not always 100% of the time but it happens

My primary lights are 2 Radion XR15 G6s but if I’m honest, I could remove the Radions and my tank wouldn’t lose much other than maybe a bit of PAR.

I thought it was that but it’s the same when extended and has the vibrant yellow/gold colour.

Step 1. Buy cotton candy torch.

Step 2. Put it under too much light.

Step 3. Wait for the green to bleach a little.

Step 4. Sell as holy grail torch at a huge markup.

Aquasd didn't scam you, you scammed yourself. This is no different from the zoa craze ten years ago where every tiny little morph got its own special name and exorbitant price. Coral adapt to your lighting by changing color; you're almost never going to get exactly what you see once it's home.

Here’s a photo I got of my new Holy Grail. The yellow hasn’t come out enough but given time it will (in person however, you can absolutely see the yellow compared to my ultra grail).
58EB46EA-D7DD-4DFD-8A86-8ABE98EFA36B.jpeg

The Ultra Grail in question is the one sat at an angle. It’s got a bright green but again, hard to photograph with the orange lense the mouth has yellow striping on it.
The other is either a possible banana needing to colour up or a pink top ultra grail.
