Would it be a good idea to place some bristle worms in my HOB filter? I have some media in the back containers and figured a couple may help to eat the old food and detritus that accumulates. I had this thought while pulling some bristle worms out of my rock work last night and figured it would be better than disposing of them. What’re your thoughts?

I don't see an issue with it. Except I wouldn't expect them to alter any manual cleaning schedule you would have for your HOB. They would get in your way a bit, as you'd have to remove them each time you would perform maintenance (not with your hands!).
