I just got back my icp-analysis and looks like Molybdenum is high.

Most Recent Result
0.062395000000000006 ppm

I am not sure why it is so high. What causes this? Should I be concerned?

I posted in wrong forum... should of went to Reef Chemistry Forum... ugh

Omg, that number has more significant figures than any experiment of any type known to man can accurately determine.

I would not worry about it unless corals seem to be suffering.

As said, maybe the first two significant digits are actually useful. Are you dosing anything? Some plant supplements and most trace elements contain some and could be contributing.

And while it's in the ballpark of 20x the most commonly recommended numbers.... the actual limits of what's safe when it comes to trace elements aren't that well understood or able to be reliably tested for, so if there are no outward problems, don't bother doing anything and take another test a few months down the line. If it's trending up then, I would probably try to track it down, but it's probably not worth reacting to in any significant way now.
