I have one called blue anthelia. I don't know if it's rare but it is my favorite. I looked forever to find a seller and only found one person who sells it. With shipping and the coral it was around 90 dollars for 6 polyps but I had to have it. I had it about a year or so.

The Stereonephthea was from a lad up near me goes by Gaz Fragz, a fireman who sells coral in his spare time from his house. Normally I would say no to house, shed or garage seller. But I don' mind him, the job he does they deserve every penny they can get. Plus he declares it as a second income unlike some home sellers. I have some nice shrooms but i lost a few when my tank almost crashed, my Jawbreaker was one of the dead.
Why are you against hobbyist that sell coral on the side?

Some garage sellers near me sell just as much coral as a licensed shop who pays higher utility prices and declares his sales to the tax man. One of the sellers near me did it and claimed job seekers allowance and other benefits, why should i work and pay taxes to keep people like him in a house. I would think the same of someone selling enough flowers to to call it a job and not declare his earnings, then go and claim benefits.

Got it. Assuming you have an issue with people working the system. Which I agree with and it makes me mad how easy it is to work the system. But at the same time if a guy is selling a small amount of coral to offset his hobby, who cares?

No I don't mean a guy in the hobby selling frags from his tank to buy new corals. I mean people playing the the system with 4 6ft tanks in their garage full of bought in corals from Indo. I sell my frags to go out and buy new corals.

Nice gorg!

What are the colorful pink/white/purple things on the rocks? Sponges?

What you’re seeing in the photos are three different things. Most are coralline algae. In the background there is actually a bazooka joe chalice. And to the right of the gorg there is a pink alevapora. So depending on what you’re looking at, it could be one of those three things.
