Thanks, and good luck with your new tank build in 8 months! And there's nothing wrong with that. I joined in 2019 and posted mabe 5 times between then and 2024. I got serious about relearning the hobby last February. I don't yet have a tank as well. Mine is due to launch in about 8 months. So yeah, just learn, learn, learn and when you are in a position to pull the trigger, you'll have a scary good knowledge base!
So Greetings and Welcome to our collective obsession!!!!
Come on, just get a reef. Ask your parents for money and that its for your scientific knowledge. Or something like that.Hi
I love learning about reefs and coral biology, and this forum seems to be a great place to learn. Although I love saltwater aquariums and reef tanks, creating one is just not practical for me due to cost. But I've joined this forum anyway and I'm excited to learn more about coral reefs and general saltwater ecosystem biology.
Thanks for your message, but I'll defiantly have to learn more and save money before considering a reef tank. While reef tanks are beautiful and an awesome way to learn about the natural reef ecosystem, I know a tank can be a lot of daunting and expensive learning curves, my sister has two beautiful freshwater tanks (one with Licorice Gouramis and the other with Killifish). At this point, I'm mainly focusing on wild reef biology but I'd love to start a reef tank if/when I have enough money.Come on, just get a reef.
