Oceans is decent. Dave the owner is a decent guy and has worked with me. Our styles of reefing are completely different but that’s okay. Thanks for the warm welcome, everybody! Just from my experiences in the last few weeks enjoying my still-barren tank. I already know I’ll be here in ten years talking about some monster tank I’ll have going by then, haha!
For those of you in OC (Hi!): which are your favorite aquarium stores? I have visited Ocean’s Tropical Fish in Mission Viejo and Amazing Aquariums and Reefs in Orange so far.
For my own sanity I'm choosing to believe it was an inexperienced employee, since the anemone did end up dying last night (farewell to my $40 as well). But also school of life; definitely going to do my research before putting anything else in my tank!Welcome to r2r!
Sorry the lfs got you early.
Plenty of people here to help with advice on maintaining a reef.

Really? did not know that! I bought my first fish there. I hope someone keeps it going he's done a really good job building it up.I just went to Seaside for the first time a couple days ago! It was super impressive. Apparently the business is currently for sale, the owner is retiring. I hope whoever buys it keeps doing a good job!
